The founder

The story behind Kitchen’sGuardian.

I started building Kitchen’sGuardian while still in high school, after realizing how much food, time and money my own family was wasting, simply because no one knew what was in the kitchen or what was about to expire.

What began as a personal frustration quickly became a vision for an app with global potential. After extensive research I realized how massive this problem really is, and that there is no solution that truly solves it. That is when I started building Kitchen’sGuardian.

FAQ

Questions families ask.

Receipt scanning, live ingredient tracking with expiry dates, recipe suggestions built from what you already have, weekly meal planning, and a shared grocery list the whole family can see.

No, that’s the point of the receipt scan: everything on it gets added with quantities and expiry dates in one go. Anything you buy loose, like farmers-market produce, takes a few taps to add by hand.

Yes. Create a shared kitchen, invite your household, and everyone sees the same inventory, plan and live grocery list in real time.

That’s what the whole app is built around. You get a heads-up before food goes bad, recipes that use those items first, and a shared list that stops duplicate buys. Most wasted food is just food somebody forgot about, and that part is fixable.
